Ordering
Sometimes it’s better to just make a phone call as it can be easier than having to deal with fiddly online forms. You can also ask questions in regards to customising bouquets and make special requests on the phone that maybe wouldn’t be available to you online. Make sure you get a reference number upon ordering.
Online is great for browsing through images of the flowers available and you can make decisions on arrangements exact colours on additional items based on what you have seen.
Sometimes you’ll get a better deal online and the net is available to you all day, every day so there’s no time restriction on placing orders. Ensure that once you have ordered that you receive a confirmation email. Print it out and keep for reference.
Delivery
Some florists offer free week day delivery then charge for weekends only but that may be different for Valentine’s Day. Make sure you read through the delivery schedule as there is always an upsurge in ordering volume during special occasions and this could affect the delivery of your Valentine’s Day roses.
Florists have been known to run out of flowers around Valentine’s Day so be sure to order a few weeks in advance – in short if you haven’t ordered yet, now is the time to do so.
Local florists are great if you are looking for a same day delivery service there will be an extra change and there’s usually a time limit as to when florists stop taking orders.

Ordering Valentine’s Day roses by courier is a great method if you are looking for something quite immediate with specified time the key thing here is to ensure the recipient is around at the time so that she can collect upon delivery.
If not it may be left on the reception desk at work or with the neighbour – it may cost you a little more but who cares if it’s for your loved one? If the roses are not time sensitive, post is the best way to this will also save on costs.
Florists usually state that they cannot guarantee a delivery within 2-3 days with postal delivery options so it’s really a better idea to go with the courier next day delivery service as the last thing you want is to pay for flowers that do arrive and just so you know, you can’t get a refund for late or non delivery!
